Hey, I think I would like to have the Change Styles box from the demo on my site. I want to see if I can take out its contents and put my own inside so that I’ll end up with a content box overlay, over my slideshow. Would modifying the Change Styles box be the best way to do that or do you have a piece of code that would give the same effect? I just need an area about 230 x 255 to overlay the slideshow. Inside the area, I want to put some code for a form.
I’ve been playing with the elements in FireBug and I can move the Change Styles box so that the left side of the box is aligned with the left side of the content, however, I’m concerned about the responsiveness. The slideshow would need to drop below the overlay box on mobile devices or else the box would completely cover the slideshow.
What do you think my best options are?
Thanks
Hi MediaMix1!
Unfortunately we can’t provide the code of the “Change Styles” box. It’s not a theme feature and we just use it for demonstration purposes. However there’re some free plugins – i.e.: http://wordpress.org/plugins/slick-contact-forms/ or see http://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/wordpress-sliding-panel/ which help you to add a floating form to your website.
