I have a multi-user blog, and the preview image on my blog links to the author bio page. This seems like odd default behavior since the image of the author already links to the bio page. It is this way on the main blog page and the single blog page:

    http://portorfordartscouncil.org/blog/

(I only have one blog post right now.)

I would like to be able to see the full image on both pages. I tried the steps in this post, but they are outdated: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/featured-image-links-to-author-page/

Can you let me know what code changes to make on the current version?

By the way, I went through many different threads from others having similar issues — a lot of them just wanted the link removed altogether. This should really be in the blog settings so people can choose up front whether the preview image should link to the author, to the post, to the large image version, or to nothing. It would save a lot of people grief.

    Thanks,
    BR

    Hey braymond64,
Sorry for the late reply, I see that you are using v4.7.2
Please try updating as v4.7.3 included this fix: fixed: Blog multiauthor preview image links to author and not to post
Would you prefer that all of your featured images not be linked at all?

    Best regards,
    Mike
