How can I change the height of images when using masonry perfect grid?
Hey norm4u!
Add a tag of “landscape” or “portrait” to each post to change their height when using the “Perfect Manual Masonry” setting. For the perfect grid they will all display the same size depending on the amount of columns you have set.

Elliott
is there not a way to change something in childtheme or css? Using tag option is very unusual.
Hi!
Not sure what you mean by that. You only need to add a tag called landscape and portrait. That is the only way to change the orientation of the images, unfortunately.
Cheers!

well, tags provide a useful way to group related posts together and to quickly tell readers what a post is about. They should not be a command for templates!
I just want to change the height of the images to make it square or a little bit higher.
Hey!
Wordpress is cropping images by default and you can control it using a plugins like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/
