    Hi,

    Please, can you say me how can I change the folder name of this theme ?
    I use more than 30 themes in themeforest and it’s the first time that I used theme which can’t supported that I change the folder name for my project….
    Avada, Jupiter, Striking, Directory portal… all more complex themes supported that.

    I’ve modify the styles.css with new name of folder but it make more and more bugs.

    Hi stane!

    Try changing the name while a different theme is active. Since the theme settings are tied to the name in the database it may cause an issue to change it while its currently active.

    Can I expand on this.

    I want to change the theme name in the style sheet to that of the client and the name of Enfold folder to that of the client.

    I can change the folder name without problem but as soon as i change the style sheet the site resolved to the Enfold default styles and I loose my site settings? How can i change both and make sure everything works.

    Obviously don’t want any problems updating in future too, so i only use customs.css for changes, anything else i need to make sure of?

    One last thing how can i back up all my settings just in case???

    Hi!

    All of your theme settings are tied to the name of the theme. If you change the name then you lose your settings and need to start over.

    If you simply want to hide the fact that you are using Enfold from the client then use a child theme and re-name the child theme to whatever you like. Its a small layer but it makes it a bit more custom looking to the client.

    There is nothing in the theme that prevents a user from changing its name however.
