    Hello, I have a sidebar option set up for a client site that I want to have as the default so they don’t have to select it specifically every time a new post is made.

    It is an option under the dropdown:

    Sidebar Setting
    Choose a custom sidebar for this entry

    How would I go about changing the default option upon adding a new post?

    Hi travtex!

    Please go to Enfold theme options > Sidebar Settings and choose to display sidebar in “Sidebar on Single Post Entries”.

    No, no. Maybe the terminology is confusing the issue.

    When adding a new post, there is a ‘Layout’ section on the right. The one with the subsections ‘Layout’, ‘Sidebar Setting’, ‘Title Bar Settings’, etc.

    The Sidebar Settings option selects from the custom widgets I’ve set up.

    I want ‘Post Sidebar’ selected by default or set as such. I don’t want to change the actual theme ‘sidebar’ settings, it’s just called Post Sidebar.

    Hey!

    Thank you for the screenshot. I’m sorry but it’s not possible without modifying the theme files. If you set the Post Sidebar as default sidebar settings, it will also be the default sidebar for all pages and portfolio items.
