Hi, I want all my category pages to look like the landing pages I’ve created, but I don’t know where to set their design. When I go to edit the page, I see no options for advanced formatting or enfold at all, just the basic WP fields.

It should look like >> https://thedownlo.com/denver/
Instead it looks like >> https://thedownlo.com/category/north-america-travel/

    Hey laurenmonitz,
The category pages are created by the archive.php template, but you could try redirecting the category slug to a page you create.
See this article about 301 redirects.

    Best regards,

I don’t want to setup redirects. There’s no way to set it as masonry grid in the function.php or other php file?

    Hi,
Sorry, you would have to edit the archive.php template, but this would affect other archive pages such as tag pages and be more technical to achieve than we can do here because they were not designed to be edited by the Advanced Layout Builder.

    Best regards,
    Mike

It would be nice to be able to have the Advanced Layout Builder available for custom taxonomies, especially on the term pages editable Description box.
Is it possible to use a child theme and allow ALB show up in the taxonomy term description field without having to hack the enfold theme directly.

There doesn’t seem to be any filters to allow this, but a simple code block with filters/hooks in the parent enfold theme would allow for us to add it.

    Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, unfortunately, I do not see a way to do this without a major rewrite, but I submitted this to the dev team for review as perhaps they will see a solution that I missed or will consider adding this function.
I will reply when the dev team reviews, thanks again for your patience.

    Best regards,
    Mike
