    Here is my site:

    I’m not sure what happened, but the main navigation used to be centered on my site, but now it’s spread across the entire front page. Can you tell me how to fix it? I’ve tried researching the responses in the forum and they don’t have an answer for me.

    Thank you.

    Hey reliablecyber,

    Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
      ( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

    When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
    If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi,

    A number of strange things are happening to this site:

    • There are updates that need to happen, but they aren’t visible in the dashboard. You can only see them when you click on Updates at the top of the page.
    • The sub-menu items are not visible where they should be. For example, Listen In menu item should have a drop down with three sub-menu items. If you hover over Listen In you will see one of the sub-menu items under My Account in the top right covering the Shop menu item.
    • I can’t get the menu centered. I’ve researched, found some suggestions in the forum, and put in code, but I can’t get it to work.
    • The Slider on the Home page is fine except for one image, it’s not the right side. I deleted it and put it in again, but that didn’t work. I also duplicated one of the other slides and substituted the image for the one that is causing a problem and that didn’t work either.

    I’ve added the plugin you asked me to add and pasted the link in the Private content area.

    Thank you for your patience and help.

    Hi reliablecyber,

    I apologize for the delayed response.
    There are updates that need to happen, but they aren’t visible in the dashboard. You can only see them when you click on Updates at the top of the page.
    – I have checked it and all is visible except one, which is the bundled layerslider. The plugin can’t be updated because it’s bundled and the only time it is updated is during the new release of Enfold.

    The sub-menu items are not visible where they should be. For example, Listen In menu item should have a drop down with three sub-menu items. If you hover over Listen In you will see one of the sub-menu items under My Account in the top right covering the Shop menu item.
    – this CSS code breaks it:

    ul {
    -webkit-column-count: 2;  /* Chrome/Opera, Safari */
    -moz-column-count: 2; /* Mozilla Firefox */
    column-count: 2;

    /* Properties below are optional: */
    -webkit-column-gap: 50px; /* Chrome/Opera, Safari */
    -moz-column-gap: 50px; /* Mozilla Firefox */
    column-gap: 50px;

    -webkit-column-rule: 1px single grey; /* Chrome/Opera, Safari */
    -moz-column-rule: 1px single grey; /* Mozilla Firefox */
    column-rule: 1px single grey;
    }

    remove it and you should see it working properly again.

    I can’t get the menu centered. I’ve researched, found some suggestions in the forum, and put in code, but I can’t get it to work.
    – Please try to add this CSS code:

    .html_visible_cart.html_stretched.html_header_top.html_header_stretch .main_menu {
        right: 0 !important;
    }

    The Slider on the Home page is fine except for one image, it’s not the right side. I deleted it and put it in again, but that didn’t work. I also duplicated one of the other slides and substituted the image for the one that is causing a problem and that didn’t work either.
    I’m not really sure which image you’re referring, can you tell us which slide it is?

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi Nikko,

    I know you guys are busy, so no problem. Updates have been applied, including WordPress 5.5, we are running the latest version of Enfold theme. Even so, the problem with the header remains. However, once we activate Enfold parent theme – the issue seems to disappear. This looks like a problem with the child theme, but I can’t tell (so far) what exactly it is. Can you please check on that? I never would have expected this problem using a child theme. Have you come across a similar issue before?

    I created a temporary login for you in the Private Content area.

    Thank you.

    Hi reliablecyber,

    Thanks for giving us admin access. :)
    It’s fixed now. I have checked your child theme and I don’t see any issues with it as the functions have been commented out.
    However in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS (I found the code, I mentioned above which caused the issue).
    If I switched theme, Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS is empty (that’s why it seems switching theme is the solution), I just switched back to the child theme and removed (commented out) the code I mentioned and it’s fixed.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi Nikko,

    Thank you for your patience with this site. Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS is not available to me. This is all I see when I go to that location:
    2020-08-19_09-00-31

    The navigation looks much better, but it’s still not right. This is what it used to look like:
    2020-08-19_09-09-54

    The Shop is also not looking right. The images are huge and things are jumbled up on the pages. The cart and checkout pages are fine, but everything else isn’t. I have no idea what has happened to the site.

    I know you guys are very busy. I appreciate your help. The menu was a major headache for the client.

    Thank you.

    I’m receiving this error as well….not sure if it’s related to what’s happening or if it’s a different problem:

    Howdy!

    Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

    In this case, WordPress caught an error with your theme, Enfold.

    First, visit your website (https://www.saysyou.net/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (https://www.saysyou.net/wp-login.php) and check for any visible issues.

    Please contact your host for assistance with investigating this issue further.

    If your site appears broken and you can’t access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special “recovery mode”. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.

    https://www.saysyou.net/wp-login.php?action=enter_recovery_mode&rm_token=Q30afeEqJR8dIrxoYIjDNW&rm_key=gSZWKnyVaMMCNfNCEEE04o

    To keep your site safe, this link will expire in 1 day. Don’t worry about that, though: a new link will be emailed to you if the error occurs again after it expires.

    When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information:
    WordPress version 5.5
    Current theme: Enfold Child (version 1.1)
    Current plugin: (version )
    PHP version 7.4.9

    Hi reliablecyber,

    This is what I see using the account you posted above: https://imgur.com/Ul1ShBD
    As for the menu, can you try adding this CSS code in Quick CSS, located in Enfold > General Styling:

    #header_main_alternate .container {
        max-width: 1350px;
    }

    Best regards,
    Nikko
