Hi – I have read a bunch of similar question threads but none seem to work. I would like the option of centering an image,/heading/text (maybe other elements) in one or more of the footer columns. Is there a general # hook for this?
Ive been working on two Divi sites this past few weeks and I’m really missing the design/styling linked to the element! A lot of the answers in the forum are very very specific to one single use case and I think that’s my problem here. I need to understand the principle or how to ID the element in the web inspector.
Also I entered the css code suggested in the answers into the child’s css file. That’s OK right?
Thanks,
Pat
Hey patricknh,
Please update your theme to the latest version 4.3 We have added a new feature where you can assign a page as a footer.
You can simply use WordPress page to design the footer and assign it as a footer from Enfold > Footer. No more hooks, CSS or filters to design the footer the way you want :)
Best regards,
Vinay
Oh, OK Vinay, thanks, I have 4.26. I will get onnit!
Hi again Vinay, Right that sorted out most of my issues and made it a lot easier to style. Two more questions related –
1. How do I get that facebook preview/link widget into a frame?
2. Where do i get that textured background that the footer options provided? (grain-top.png)
Thanks
Hi,
Thank you for the update.
1.) I’m not sure what you mean by that. Could you give an example? I don’t think facebook allow their pages to open inside an iframe.
2.) Those images are located in the wp-content > themes > enfold > images > background-images folder.
Best regards,
Ismael
