Been having a problem just recently with not being able to update the product category image. The correct image shows in the admin but will not show in the front end. I suspected a cache issue so I disabled WP Super Cache but this didn’t help. Can you help me with this?
Check the Clearance category. Right now there is one image showing in the admin and an old image showing in the front end, in Safari, Opera, Firefox, and Chrome.
Hi!
All of the category images are the same for me in the dashboard and on the frontend. Did you clear your browser cache as well?
Cheers!

I think it is definitely some sort of cache problem. I have cleared the cache in the browsers repeatedly. Curiously I no longer have the problem in Safari but continue to have the problem in Opera, Firefox, and Chrome. However I can delete the cache from WP Super Cache for a one time fix. (I turned it back on after troubleshooting*) The next time I test changing the product category image, Opera, Firefox, and Chrome are stuck on the previous image again and will not display the correct image despite clearing all cache. I hope this gives a clue to getting to the bottom of this.
*I have gone through the exercise in my .dev site of turning off all plugins except WooCommerce of course. The problem persisted. I tried switching to the twenty twelve theme and on up to twenty fifteen but could not test because those themes were not showing the product category image on the product archive page at all.
My client is quite frustrated by this and my inability to fix it. What can I do?
Hey!
please go into your cache plugin and switch off caching. Afterwards deactivate all unnecessary plugins and clear browser cache and refresh website a few times. When you just deactivate your caching plugin, it will still cache.
Hope this helps.

Yes. Thank you, that works!
