February 7, 2019 at 9:13 am #1063930Hey algkent,
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,
NikkoFebruary 11, 2019 at 2:44 pm #1065440Hi,
I wanted to check in on this, please? I had given a username/password in the private content area.
Thanks,
AmandaFebruary 12, 2019 at 4:06 am #1065761Hi Amanda,
I haven’t received any.
Private Content is located just below the field where you write your reply in the forum.
I have made a sample below.Best regards,

I’m doing it again, in the Private Content area.
February 12, 2019 at 5:54 pm #1066024Hi algkent,
Thanks, seems like a plugin conflict but it’s hard to determine.
Also temporarily deactivating plugins will affect your live site.
Can you try to create a staging site? it’s basically just a clone of your site placed on your subdomain, so we can test it there without risking your live site.
Here is a link to a tutorial on creating a stage site: https://themeisle.com/blog/wordpress-staging-site/Best regards,
NikkoFebruary 16, 2019 at 6:21 pm #1067752Thanks. I’m asking my hosting company if they can create a staging site.
February 16, 2019 at 7:32 pm #1067771Okay — from my hosting company (in the private section)
February 18, 2019 at 8:35 am #1068182Hi algkent,
Thanks for creating the staging site as well as the admin access.
I was able to find out that this plugin was causing the issue: Google XML Sitemap Generator
I have disabled it on the stage site and it works properly.Best regards,
NikkoFebruary 18, 2019 at 6:45 pm #1068533Oh great — does that mean we should disable it on the real site, then delete the staging site?
Also, if I get rid of that plugin, do I still have a site map going to Google?
Thanks,
AmandaFebruary 18, 2019 at 7:25 pm #1068549Hi Amanda,
Try using another plugin which has same functionalities.
Once you found one, test it first on the staging site and if it’s good then replace the plugin on your live site then delete the staging site.Best regards,
NikkoFebruary 18, 2019 at 7:27 pm #1068551Thanks. So, there’s no other plugin that I have that submits a site map? Or does the theme have that functionality?
February 18, 2019 at 7:40 pm #1068560Hi Amanda,
You can find plugins which has similar functionality.
In your WordPress Dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New, then search for: google xml sitemap
There should be lots of options you can choose from.Best regards,
NikkoFebruary 18, 2019 at 8:13 pm #1068578Great news — one of my plugins that is already activated is already creating a sitemap (the Yoast plugin!). So I’m going to delete the plugin with the issue, and ask my hosting company to delete the staging site.
