Hi –
I’d like my category and tag pages to be the same as my blog page template. I do have a custom blog page set up: https://avaansmedia.com/news-resources-insights/blog/
I’ve tried several CSS recommendations from past requests, but they don’t seem to apply to my case.
Thank you for your help.
Hey tsays,
Thank you for the inquiry.
It is not possible to use the Advance Layout Builder to modify the archive pages (tag and category), but you can add the markup of the builder elements directly in the template files. You will have to edit the archive.php and tag.php file in order to do that.
For example, this is the markup of the first color section in your blog page.

Unfortunately, this kind of modification is beyond the scope of support. You may need to hire a freelance developer or contact our partner, Codeable.
Best regards,
Ismael
I am still trying to get this done, I went to Codeable and that was a disaster. Plus the changes they made disappeared when I updated to the most recent version. Then I went to Upwork and hired a developer who charged me to not do the work and then insisted my request was not possible.
If someone can’t help me, maybe someone can tell me how to tell a developer how to get this done?
My category and tag pages are disaster: https://avaansmedia.com/category/announcements/
I’d like them to mirror this template: https://avaansmedia.com/our-capabilties/news-resources-insights/blog/
THanks @mike. I will try that.
