    After opening a catalog element that has been created one year ago, it does not show any content for editing. When I save the element again, the contents are deleted.

    Hi Bernd,

    Can you give us a link to the page mentioned?
    Also, please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
      ( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

    When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
    If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Hi Nikko,
    are you sure to do this, because this is a livesite of a customer (winery) with a big online shop by WooCommerce.
    The attempt to save the element as a template and to create it new from this template doesn’t work.
    Securing the empty element meant that the content in the frontend had disappeared.
    The catalog element at the bottom left was recreated and working yesterday.

    I see, can you setup a staging site for us instead? so we won’t be able to touch your live site.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    We set the builder to debug mode and checked the shortcodes. We noticed that the issue only occurs when there is an av_hr or separator/whitespace shortcode inside the catalogue item content, so we removed all instances of the shortcode inside the catalogue items. The catalogue elements are accessible again. Unfortunately, we are not yet sure why the issue occurs when the av_hr shortcode is added to the content.
