The caption colors on the full width easy slider on my home page do not show correctly unless I am logged into wordpress. If I am not logged in the caption (only on the 2nd slide) is small and red and when I am logged in it is larger and white. I have full width easy sliders on several pages on my website but this is the only page I have a problem with. In fact, I have temporarily (I hope) taken the captions off all the sliders on the home page except for the caption on the 2nd slider. You probably have this already answered, but I couldn’t find anything on it. Thanks

Thank you for the inquiry.
Looks like the css files are compressed. Did you install a css compression plugin? This is the style of the h2 element when we checked, applied in the Enfold > Advanced Styling panel.
#top #wrap_all .all_colors h2 { color: #800009; font-size: 19px; font-weight: lighter; text-transform: none; }Please try to disable the css compression plugin temporarily and see if it helps.

I deactivated WP Fastest Cache and the caption is showing as it should. My question is why did this only happen on the homepage and not any of the other pages on my website? I had installed the WP Fastest Cache some time ago, but it was only recently that this problem showed up.
So is there a solution where I can use some sort of plugin to make my website load faster and still have the captions on the homepage? Or do I have to give up the captions and reinstall WP Fastest Cache? I am just a farmer and not a website developer but the website is very important to our business and I would like it to load quickly.
Thanks for your help,
MarcyOctober 15, 2022 at 10:01 am #1368919Hi Marcy,
A caching plugin is supposed to serve cached content, and that is likely what it did when your changes didn’t show up. If this should happen again, then please try to clear all caches from the plugin, then try loading the page in question in a private browser window. You could also try toggling the file compression options under Enfold->Performance, or try to activate the option to delete all old CSS and JS files on the same page.

Looking to the future, I can see the CSS File Merging and Compression on the Performance Page and it is, as it has been, set to “enable- merge and compress all theme CSS Files” But I am not sure how to “activate the option to delete all old CSS and JS files on the same page.” I tried googling that phrase but couldn’t find anything — does Enfold have some documentation either on the dashboard or on my site that I could read.October 19, 2022 at 4:45 pm #1369433Hi,
Thanks for the update. The Delete Old CSS And JS Files? option is located at the very bottom of the page under Enfold->Performance, please check there. You can read all theme documentation here: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/
Best regards,
