    Hi

    i made a page named home.
    I cloned it so now slug is automatically home-2 (but this page will be the good one)

    So i erase the first page “home” and empty trash
    But when i want to update “home-2” to “home”
    it can’t be done and always add “-2” after “home”

    Any idea?

    Thanks for that. Do you have something else which might be using the same slug? An image or page for example?

    As i told u no page with the same slot i checked.
    there was effectively one image with the same word in the title.
    I put a new image title but i still can not update slug to page… it automaticcaly put “-2” at the end :(

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. Does the same thing happen if you activate one of the default WordPress themes? If so, then it’s not theme related.
