Hi,
I’m using the RTL version of enfold on my website (with Hebrew).
When I try to edit a link or image I can’t access the edit panel – it flashes when I hover it and doesn’t respond when I try to click the edit pencil or any of the other options.
This is happening when I use chrome. When I switch to firefox it works ok.
Any idea why is this happening and how can I fix it?
Thanks

This sounds like a plugin conflict, Try disabling your plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause. If not then please include a admin login in the private content area and a link to the page and element you get this error on.
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,
MikeOctober 1, 2017 at 9:15 pm #858992I created a new user for you with administrator privileges.
You’ll find a page called test in the drafts where you have a sample of link and image and you can see it can’t be edited.
Thanks

October 3, 2017 at 8:18 pm #859775Hi,
I moved admin details at the Private Area.
Please although – try what Mike has suggested and let us know the results.
Disable the plugins and do play around with that.Best regards,
BasilisOctober 10, 2017 at 9:18 am #862377It appears to be a problem with the update to wordpress 4.8.2 and not a problem with enfold.
What I found is that it has something to do with the wordpress admin language – it only happens when the language is Hebrew. If I switch the admin language of my Hebrew website to English there’s no problem.
Still don’t have a solution though…
Thanks for your help.
October 12, 2017 at 8:34 pm #863614Hi,
Are you using a multilanguage plugin or just lang switching?
Best regards,
BasilisOctober 12, 2017 at 10:55 pm #863670just lang switching

BasilisOctober 18, 2017 at 8:08 am #865570Hi,
It’s not a plugin problem. As I mentioned it appears to be a problem with the update to WordPress 4.8.2 and not a problem with enfold.
What I found is that it has something to do with the WordPress admin language – it only happens when the language is Hebrew. If I switch the admin language of my Hebrew website to English there’s no problem.
So thanks for your help. I hope there will be a solution for this on the next WordPress update…
