Hi i have paid for the theme Enfold since 2017. I only use it on one site https://yndisauki.is/ I use Enfold child, but last mai/june nothing within the Theme option was accessible, so i startid looking at my theme and saw that it was old. When i have tryed to update i always get the message that everything is up to date, but i have Enfold Version: 4.0.7 and Enfold Child Version: 1.0,, i have gone under theme option and looked and everything looked to be fine.

I realy need to change on my site and i want to fix this and be up to date. So now i am trying to install the latest theme and i have to work my way to adjust that to my website, but i get the message The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

I was told that if I have a child theme then I do not have to renew my subscription annually, is that correct, i have been paying for years for this site?

Hope that help will come soon.
    Kind regards Kristín Jóna

    Hi Kristín Jóna,

Can you try to do the following:
Login to ThemeForest and download the Enfold theme.
    1. Right-click over the downloaded zip file and extract/unzip it.
    2. It should generate a new folder, open it and look for the enfold folder
    3. Right-click the enfold folder then zip it, here’s a tutorial on how to create a zip file in windows: https://www.howtogeek.com/668409/how-to-zip-and-unzip-files-on-windows-10/ (this should create enfold.zip
    4. Log in to WordPress as and Admin.
    5. Install and activate a maintenance plugin and put your site in Maintenance mode.
    6. Go to Appearance > Themes, switch to a default WordPress theme like TwentyTwenty then delete Enfold.
    7. Click on the ADD NEW button.
    8. Click on the UPLOAD THEME button.
    9. Click BROWSE and choose enfold.zip file
    10. Click the INSTALL NOW button and switch to Enfold or your child theme.
    11. Remove the maintenance mode then deactivate and remove the maintenance plugin.
