Hey guys,
I’m having some trouble editing my pages. The classic editor keeps showing on top of the edit page, when I scroll all the way down it shows the Avia builder. Yes, I can edit the page on the Avia builder, but it showed some issues as well. Sometimes blocks just disappear after confirming.
My first thought was updating Enfold, since it’s now on version 4.0.7. This however does not seem to work. The Enfold Theme Update page shows it’s on the latest version. Updating via FTP did not work either.
Any solutions so I can edit my pages again?
Thanks in advance!

The option to go to Classic Editor does not seem to show. Am I missing something?
I am on 4.0.7 and can’t seem to update either.May 7, 2020 at 10:55 pm #1210821Hi samvwh,
Yes, you can’t update because Envato has already stopped using API keys and are now using tokens, so you can’t do the theme update using the normal process.
Please do the following after making a backup:- Put your site in maintenance mode (using a plugin)
- Switch to Twentytwenty or any WordPress Default Themes and Delete Enfold
- Unzip the zip file you have downloaded from Themeforest
- Open the unpacked folder produced by unzipping the file and you should find enfold.zip file
- Go to your site, and in the Dashboard, go to Appearance > Themes and click the Add New button
- Click the Upload Theme button then click Choose File and upload the enfold.zip file
- Install and Activate the theme
- Turn off maintenance mode, deactivate and uninstall the maintenance plugin
To make updates work normally again, here’s our documentation for register your theme with a personal token in Envato: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#toggle-id-1-closed

Thank you, will do this update!
What is the best way to save/backup all my pages, media and theme customizations? I wish to keep my website as similar as possible.May 9, 2020 at 6:23 pm #1211459Hi samvwh,
I can’t really say what’s the best way because I guess it depends on different factors which also includes our preference.
I have tried a paid plugin called BackupBuddy (the last time I used was 2 yrs ago) and for me, it works really great and it’s very convenient even with default settings, I can just click on the backup button and wait for it to backup the whole site, then afterward I can download it or put it in a remote storage and if I want to clone it on another site, it’s very easy and you’ll only need to provide credentials.
I also see a lot of people using either Duplicator or UpdraftPlus to backup their site (or migrate), both of these are free plugin that can be upgraded to a Pro/Premium version with 1 million + active installation and rated 5 stars, I think it’s worth trying one of them :)Best regards,
