can't see text in input box or dropdown

wherever on site there’s a input text box or dropdown i cannot see the text,

it happens in both my mac laptop and PC desktop, on chrome browsers as well as firefox,

I see white on white text, although when I mark the letters i typed in it doesn’t display some backdrop of the letters, so they simply don’t appear,

this is happening on my website and other WP websites i visit, for example this very contact form i’m writing in now, (copy paste from notepad)
