hi support team,
hope you’re doing well. i need to ask for help.
i have purchased enfold and layerslider wp.
i have registered layerslider wp using my purchase code for it.
and i have imported some premium templates from the layerslider template store.
none of these premium templates from the layerslider template store can be saved.

https://ibb.co/mDtXDoi cannot find any way to update layerslider in order to resolve the 1st red error message. and i do not have the knowledge of how to resolve the non-standard installation location problem.
can you help?

So you have a separate license for LayerSlider? If so then you will have to deactivate the bundled version first, you can do so under Enfold->Layout Builder.
If you should need any further help on the topic then please post admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look.

after my original post, i have deactivated the bundled plug-in.
and i have downloaded and installed the layerslider plug-in separately. after downloading the layerslider plugin separately, i checked to see that it is already activated from when i previously activated it with my purchase code.
now that i have installed the layerslider plug-in separately, there are no longer any red messages in the layerslider system status page.
i then imported a layerslider slider from the template store to check again if i can save any changes or even save without making any changes. i still cannot save any slider template imported from the layerslider template store. clicking “save” still results in an error message.

but can you please take a look at this problem as early as possible on Monday?
i’m in Asia, and want to resume working on my site Monday if at all possible. my Monday afternoon is your Monday morning if you guys are in eastern Europe. so if you can start looking at this problem as early as possible Monday, i’d really appreciate it.

Could you give us access to the layer slider templates so that we can upload it and see the error? Use dropbox or any file sharing site.
I also noticed that there is a slider called “LayerSlider v6”. Is it one of the templates?Best regards,

the “LayerSlider v6” you mentioned is a template downloaded from the layerslider template store found on the layerslider page within my wp at josephsbs.com. if you open the slider on josephsbs.com/wp-admin/ and then try to save it with or without making changes, you will find that the save fails.

You might want to write to the Layer Slider support as well, maybe they can help you with this.
Can you please check server log for error?
