I just recently purchased Enfold and installed the health coach demo – no problems there. I’ve been in the process of modifying the pages: I changed pics, text, etc – everything was working fine…I wanted to highlight my name in Green (if you look at the demo the About Me page where it says: Emma Fold her last name is in green, the first name is in black) and I believe that’s when I messed it up because I cannot save anything else on the About Me page. I tried deleting the entire code, retyping my name, entering a new text box nothing seems to work. My public page shows everything in green and it looks extremely sloppy. I’ve already lost several hours and it’s extremely frustrating. Please help. Thanks

Can you please include a admin login in the private content area so we can take a closer look.Best regards,
MikeOctober 15, 2017 at 3:14 pm #864493Hi Mike,
Please see below. Thank you for looking into this for me. I’m sure it’s a simple fix but I can’t figure it out. Just a FYI: I can’t save any data only on the “About Me” page (when you click the button on the top right corner).
October 15, 2017 at 4:12 pm #864506I take that back: now my logo can’t be saved…so not sure what’s going on.
October 15, 2017 at 6:38 pm #864521Hi,
I disabled the “1&1 WP Wizard” plugin and your site seems to be running better now, although some java scripts are not functioning correctly, please ask your host to check the file permissions of your WordPress and if they have any security settings blocking your site.
Here’s some more info: Fix File and Folder PermissionsBest regards,
MikeOctober 19, 2017 at 2:10 am #866030Hi Mike,
My 1&1 WP Wizard was already disabled: I know that for a fact because I checked it before I posted my question. I contacted my host company they updated my file permissions ( 755 for all folders and sub-folders; 644 for all files) and reinstalled the theme but the error still occurs. They are stating that there’s an error with the theme! Can you please look into this? I’m stuck and can’t move forward. Thank youOctober 20, 2017 at 6:05 am #866578Hi,
You have open markup on the page, that is likely why it’s not working:
<u>Tom <u>Smith</u>
That properly closed would look like this:
<u>Tom</u> <u>Smith</u>
Could you try closing all markup properly or simply remove it to see if that helps please?
Best regards,
RikardOctober 21, 2017 at 4:55 pm #867073Rikard, Thanks for your reply. I tried your suggestion but it won’t save the change. I DO believe the issue is with the open mark up but how do I fix it if it won’t save the fix?? I’m beyond frustrated at this point. I really need to have this resolved. There should be a simple fix for this? I have already provided you guys with the login info: can you please play around a little bit to see if it can be fixed? Thank you
October 21, 2017 at 5:00 pm #867074Just to clarify: I tried removing the mark up AND I also tried closing it properly. The changes can’t be saved.
October 22, 2017 at 5:15 pm #867219Hi,
I used debug mode and found that you had this code in the page several times:<span class="wixGuard"></span>
once I removed it the builder began working correctly again. I also removed that stray <u> as I remembered from before you wanted the first name a different color than the last name. I don’t believe you will have anymore issues unless wixGuard is on more pages, but now you’ll know.
Best regards,
MikeOctober 22, 2017 at 9:38 pm #867336Thank you, Mike! It is working properly now!! May I just ask you to remove my name from one of the posts on this thread? Thanks again for your help!
October 22, 2017 at 9:53 pm #867344Hi,
Glad to hear, I removed your name, let me know if I did so in the right spot so I can close this :)Best regards,
MikeOctober 22, 2017 at 10:03 pm #867353It’s actually still showing. It is posted on Rikard’s post from 10/20 about the mark up (scroll up and you’ll see it).
Thank you so much for fixing my site. I’m very happy
