    Hi Team Kriesi,
    made some changes to a website and suddenly – on the starting page – no changes were accepted. Any time i try to safe the site it goes back to the previous site and no changes were made.
    Than i updated to 4.5 enfold, got an new api from enfold, flashed the enfold-directory by ftp, put the newest version per ftp on the server, installed wp-optimize to get rid of all revisions – but nothing helped.
    Than i erased the starting page, put on a new starting page and could make a few changes.
    But after 20 min, no further changes werde accepted and i still cant safe the page anymore.
    How can i achieve to safe changes on my site?

    Hi Victoria,
    doesnt matter. no changes were safed. no changes in textblock or adding a cell or changing link in an image in a textblock or anything else.

    Please deactivate all plugins one by one to check which one is causing this issue and let us know if this solves the problem.

    Please check if your web space or database are full – what you describe is that you are trying to save and it does no work.

    Hi, thats not the problem. database only 6MB, webspace approx. 50Giga left.

    Hi,

    I’m not really sure what’s wrong with the start page but saving works on a new page. (see private field)

    Did you add any html tags on the start page? Please try to recreate the page from scratch.

    Hi Ismael,
    i already did – erased starting page and made a new one from scratch. As mentioned before – worked for about 20 min and than suddenly stopped saving work on the starting page. On both starting pages …
    Its also funny to change into standard-mode with the editor. I can erase everything, save it, and preview shows nothing – which is goog.
    Going back to the advanced layout-editor – everything is back on its place.
    Lets say its just one more funny thing in the www.
    Next change i have to make in june – so maybe till then something will change.

    Happy holidays to you too! With Gutenberg coming out, WordPress can be very different when you need to make changes again.

    Had to delete the theme completely and set up again. Now everthing works fine again.
