Hey support team,
I really need help. I can’t even upload “Enfold theme” on wordpress.org.
Noted that I have purchased a manage workpress account offer by godaddy. so unlike other users, I log in my wordpress page through my webhosting (godaddy.com) I tried two ways 1. uploading the exact folder I downloaded from themeforest 2. I created an extra folder only copy enfold folder and added zip to create enfold.zip (Still when I tried to click add them > upload> click browse and enter. When I clicked uploaded (the link that I chose, dissapear) and there is no upload going on.
How can I even upload the theme through my webhosting (it’s the only way that I can use wordpress) secondly, I have tries so so many times and I think it will be best for me to give you my customer order number and password (so you can help me download the file via godaddy site). I think my case is unlike most users. Is it also a problem because I have a domain as well?
Please let me know ASAP, I planed to launch my blog within today already. i would prefer provide information only through my personal e-mail account (regarding the usernam and so on). Thank you

You can use filezilla – yes. It should also run on older Windows or Mac computers. If you need help with the ftp installation I recommend to view this video: https://vimeo.com/64927356
Cheers!
PeterMarch 2, 2014 at 7:39 am #231220Is it safe to use Filezilla? I’m afriad that my old MAC computer does not have any secure software.
So basically I need to
1. Firstly unzip the themeforest file (save it on desktop)
2. Sign up for Firezilla (key in STFP infor; host name/ username/ password)
3. Transfer information from my desktop (theme) drag and drop on the right hadn side (wordpress server) on Filezilla
4. Activate the theme?Lastly, if I don’t want to use filezilla to upload the theme to wordpress and so on. Is that other way to install the theme??
March 2, 2014 at 8:11 am #2312223. You’ll probably get some other folders alongside with the actual theme (documentation, etc), the folder you need to upload is the one named ‘enfold’, and the destination would be in the /wp-content/themes folder of your WordPress installation.

A yes or no answer would be much appreciated. how can I access in the /wp-content/themes ??? where to click, etc. is that the other solution besides the filezilla? and is filezilla a safe solution or a risky one if I dont have a good secure system in my old macbook?
March 5, 2014 at 3:42 pm #232729Hi!
Sorry but we cannot help you with installing the theme. As Peter posted, this video is very helpful for installating the theme via FTP http://vimeo.com/64927356
Edit: Have you installed WordPress? If not, please also see https://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPressCheers!

March 5, 2014 at 5:21 pm #232809Okay. Thank you. So the only way to download this theme is only by uploading the file to Firezilla and link it with webhost in this case wordpress.org? is that correct ? so the normal uploading option with enfold.zip isnt really going to work? If I dont want to use filezilla to install the theme is there other way to do it?
March 5, 2014 at 6:35 pm #232853Hey!
Yeah, you can also upload the enfold.zip via the Dashboard (Themes > Add new) but you said that method wasn’t working, that’s why we suggested the FTP method.

JosueApril 23, 2014 at 9:19 pm #255222Hi
I have followed the instructions above but i am unable to upload the enfold theme folder. It attempts to load all the files but responds with an error message similar to this /var/www/html/wordpress/wp-content/themes/lang/de_DE.po: open for write: no such file or directoryWhat am i doing wrong?
Thanks
April 23, 2014 at 9:21 pm #255223Hey!
lang folder is inside Enfold. So path should be wp-content/themes/enfold/lang/de_DE.po

YigitApril 23, 2014 at 9:32 pm #255229It’s not just this file…i get an error message with all the files.
From the video it looks to be as simple as dragging and dropping the enfold folder onto my website server (into themes). But it’s not working.
April 24, 2014 at 1:48 am #255271Hi!
Yes, it is just that simple. You can also try googling other how-to videos on installing a WordPress theme and see if an alternative description or walkthrough works better for you but the theme doesn’t have anything special that needs to be done on a typical WordPress installation.
If you want it done for you I know Envato Studio has lots of freelancers who do theme installs for about $30.
Best regards,
