I just keep getting same message: importing didnt work, second time same message and “logo-construction already exists” “arquitect handling keys to a couple already exists” “construction site machines already exists”, already tried database reset, and and still the first message, then after try once more, i get second message again, trying to install construction demo. I been reading some topics, manual installation recommendation just take me to demo import, and can not found solution. Thanks in advance.
February 5, 2019 at 4:04 am #1062992Hey papaulo,
Please check your PHP settings in your webhost or cPanel, to see if the secure options are activated.
“allow_url_fopen, “allow_url_include” and “register_globals” are “off”
Try turning these “on”.
If this doesn’t help we can assist in installing the demo for you, it looks like you want the “construction demo”
Please include a admin login & FTP access in the Private Content area, please note that installing a demo will delete all of your current content and settings.Best regards,
MikeFebruary 5, 2019 at 5:41 am #1063003Thank you Mike! i dont have idea how to check php sttings, my host is gator; i tried to install small bussines demo and it works, i make some progress,so i will live the construction demo for now, now i can’t edit any text with advanced editor, is there another way to edit?
February 5, 2019 at 7:18 am #1063034Hi,
If I understand correctly, you were able to install the “small business demo” and you are happy, but you can’t edit the text with the advanced layout builder?
Please include a admin login in the private content area so we can take a closer look.Best regards,
MikeFebruary 6, 2019 at 2:15 am #1063422Yes, i already install the small business demo, after trying few things i can edit now the text, i realized that probably is a problem with wordpress, or my host, when i try to upload large images i have http error, i already increased the php memory to 256, and still, so i’m assuming that construction demo has large images and that’s the rason that i can not install it, because of http error. I leave my admin login and link to access.
February 6, 2019 at 3:49 am #1063435Hi,
Thanks for the login, I took a look at your settings and everything looked fine, then I uploaded a couple of images, such as one that was:
File size: 6 MB
Dimensions: 5760 × 3840
and I didn’t find any errors with the uploading.
When you had the error what did it say? Are you still having the error?Best regards,
MikeFebruary 6, 2019 at 5:08 am #1063448Ok, i found that png images larger than 2000px will cause this error by trying diferent sizes, i was using png’s, jpg’s seems to work ok, i check the sourcecode from the construction demo, and there is no files larger than 2000px, weird stuff, not sure if demo has a problem. I will keep the small business, then try to upload pics by ftp. I’ll be back if i have another issue. Thank you Mike!

My name is Steve and I’m not able to upload the DJ demo content into my new wordpress upload. Would you be able to help me out with that please?I’ve included FTP information and credentials. Not sure what has happened recently on importing demo content but I’ve never had trouble in the past. It would be great to get this figured out or the future sites and importantly this one. Thank you and looking forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Steve- This reply was modified 4 years, 8 months ago by Unit4media.
April 7, 2020 at 11:43 am #1201558Hi,
@Unit4media thanks for the FTP access, but the WordPress login isn’t working for me, please check.
Once we are able to login, we will reset the site and try to import the demo again, probably manually.
I see that you are using GD “Managed WordPress” typically these are the accounts that are having issues with PHP security settings when the secure options are activated.
“allow_url_fopen, “allow_url_include” and “register_globals” are “off”
Sometimes the GD support can turn these “on”.
But either way, typically we can import manually.Best regards,
Mike -
