Hi,
I am trying ot Import the Online Shop Demo, tried 3 times, to no avail. Just get hte same message from Enfold saying Sorry we couldn’t import your demo, try refreshing the page and try again.
Is there an issue maybe with new Enfold?

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

Please enable PHP ZipArchive Extension via webhost manager like Cpanel, Hpanel or WHM.

NikkoOkay, I installed the php zip archive extension in cPanel, and this time it went through the process without an error at the end, but it still did not install the demo… hmmm, what do you think?

Thanks, some “Managed WordPress” hosts have the secure PHP options activated.
These advanced settings will probably need to be looked at by your webhost,
if “allow_url_fopen, “allow_url_include” and “register_globals” are “off” try turning these “on”.
If this doesn’t help, please include ftp access in the private content area so we can try to import the demo manually.

MikeOkay, I was able to turn this on: allow_url_fopen, but that was the only advanced option I saw.
If you could import the shop demo, that would be awesome, yes.

Thanks for the ftp access, I reset your site and they did a manual import, please clear your browser cache and check.

VictoriaSo sorry, one more thing,… I ended up adding a child theme, knew I’d need to edit the functions.php file, but when I did, I lost a couple of things, colors top bar, etc., which is fine, but the one thing I couldn’t figure out, is how did you get the shopping cart icon in the menu? I don’t see in extra elements or in menu itself. Could you tell me how to add that back in like you have in your demo?

Hi,
It sounds like you didn’t import the parent theme settings when you activated the child theme.
You can also try disabling or clearing your cache plugins, and disabling the Enfold Theme Options > Performance > JS & CSS file merging and compression and then clear your browser cache.
To enable the shop cart icon in the menu, go to Enfold Theme Options > Shop Options > Header Shopping Cart Icon and choose “Always Display attached to the main menu”
