Hi. I have returned to Enfold again. It’s so reliable and clean. However, the X Theme I was using is proving a problem. I cannot access your site building tool, only the X them one is present, or the standard wordpress one. What do I do? I cannot edit any of the existing pages
September 9, 2019 at 5:41 pm #1136144Hey,
Welcome back! :)
Page builder might be installed as a stand alone plugin such as Elementor so please check plugins.
If that does not help, please post temporary admin logins here privately so we can look into it :)

Thanks!
Yes, that would definitely be better. I checked Enfold version and it is very old. Please also update Enfold to the latest version via FTP – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/#update-via-ftp.We will be waiting to hear from you :)
Best regards,

Authorization is required for your staging site so i could not login. Could you please post those logins as well? And please share FTP password as well :)
Best regards,

FTP logins worked however i am only seeing ftpquota file and nothing else. We might be able to figure it out without needing FTP logins but htaccess logins did not work again. I attached a screenshot to show which one i mean. Could you please check once again? :)
Best regards,

These did not work as well. Just to be clear, this is not for WordPress logins. Your staging site is protected so only those with logins can see your website and WordPress login page.
This might be default on staging sites so if you do not know those logins, please contact your hosting provider and they should be able to provide :)Best regards,

SiteGround has cPanel. If you do not mind, could you please share cPanel logins?
If you do not know your cPanel logins, SiteGround can provide them to you. Using cPanel, we can access the files on your server and login to WordPress.

Thank you for the logins, I mixed and matched them until I could gain access to your staging site.
In order to update your site you will need to upload the theme files via FTP or your cPanel file manager, I have done this for you on your staging site.
Now you will be able to use the Enfold Advanced Layout Builder to edit the pages About, Blog, & Portfolio but not the other pages because they use the X Theme shortcodes that Enfold doesn’t read, so you will need to recreate these pages.Best regards,
