    I would like to create a testimonial grid ( 1 column) or slider and place it in the sidebar widget, but I cannot seem to find the shortcodes for testimonials…

    Hi Josue,

    Thanks for the quick response. I’m aware of the content elements section that let’s me set up the testimonial slider in the “main content” area of the page. Is there a way to get the testimonial shortcode into the Appearance -> Widgets ->Sidebar-of-My-Choice?

    Hey!

    Yes, it’s possible, generate the shortcode using the Magic Wand (don’t enter ALB), that will create a shortcode which you can simply paste in a Text Widget.

    That’s what I thought, but for some reason my magic wand doesn’t give me that option….Possibly needs an update….take a look at the screenshot:

    Switch to Default Editor then use the shortcode wand there.
