Hi,
I recently purchased Enfold and have installed version 3.0.4 on my localhost. I am trying to add social icons to the header and footer, but they do not seem to be available. The drop down box that is supposed to be beneath “Header Social Icons” in the Extra Elements of the Enfold Header tab does not appear. Neither does the checkbox underneath “Social Icons” in the Enfold Footer tab.
What am I doing wrong? I have already defined social profiles for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google+ in the Enfold Social Profiles tab.
Thanks.

Go ahead and update Enfold to the latest version, 3.0.8, and then deactivate all plugins.
If you navigate to Dashboard > Enfold > Header > Extra Elements you will see the option “Header Social Icons” which you can use the dropdown to set them to your header menu.
Your saying this dropdown is not displaying? Go ahead and send us a WordPress login and we’ll take a look.
Cheers!

I was using Firefox 35.0 on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit with the Adblock Plus 2.6.7 extension installed. When I disabled Adblock Plus, the social icon dropdown boxes for both the header and footer reappeared and I was able to see the social icons in the header and footer on my site.
However, I did notice that once I re-enabled Adblock, it blocked the icons from appearing on the site in addition to blocking the dropdown boxes in the admin area. Adblock Plus is a fairly common extension for Firefox users, so I’d be curious to know whether other people experience the same problem.

Thanks for posting your solution. Not really sure why the Firefox extension would be doing that. If anyone has any ideas then please share.
