    My previous front page was called “homepage”. I built a new front page called “home”. When I go to Appearance > Customize and change the static front page to “home”, the site can’t find it and shows the 404 error when the site address is entered into the address bar.

    Hi MediaMix1!

    You should change your frontpage in Enfold theme options. It was also set in Settings > Reading but i disabled it for you. Please go to Enfold theme options and change frontpage as needed

    This has been resolved. I didn’t realize there are front page settings in the theme options.
