    I am trying do something that one can normally do in WordPress: add a menu item as a sub item to a top-level navigation item. I want to add the “Client Questionnaire” page as a sub item under “Client Resources”. When I do that, it turns it into a column and not just a sub menu item. I tried turning off the Mega Menu for this item, but it still does it. I’ve never seen this before on any other site where I couldn’t put menu items where I want them to go.

    I just implemented the menu item in question as the submenu. Please review it now.

    Hi!

    the issue was that the (parent) menu was marked as “mega menu”.
