    Hi there, I’m having problem adding new category in menu. I can add new page, but when I’m trying to add it in menu I end up with error 404. I’ve tried to disable all plugins, flushing permalinks and nothing helped. My friend with much more experience could’t find what is wrong. Please help me. Thx

    Hey Toplak28!

    Which one is the link? All I saw were links to pages. If you navigate to Dashboard > Posts > Categories you can grab the correct permalink to use.

    Sorry, I forgot to tell that everything is ok in italian, but when you try to add page in english, croatian and slovenian menu that error appears. I tought that it has something to do with WPML but I couldn’t find anything wrong. I’ve just created blank pages named “aa” in all other three languages, when I select it and click ad to menu it appears there, but when I click on save menu I got error 404.

    what happens if you activate a default WordPress theme and try again?

    Sorry for late response, I have lot to do these days. When I set to default wordpress theme same thing happens, even there I can’t add new page to menu, except in Italian. You can do whatever is necessary, I can’t figure it out. Of course if and when you find time to do it. It’s not emergency, but I promised my friend that this will be solved sometimes in next few weeks. He is a priest and everything I do for him I do it for free. I tought I can handle it myself, but run out of options. Sorry for bothering you…

    Hey!

    then we are sure that it’s not a theme related issue and in this case we can’t do much. You would need to ask in general WordPress forum instead.
