    Aloha, I’m trying to add a second instance of LayerSlider into a 1/2 page column in Avia Layout Builder – but it won’t allow me to drop the LayerSlider into a column. I can drop it anywhere else on the page.

    Is it not possible to use LayerSlider in a column, or is there a trick to enable that?

    Hi Drew,

    No, the LayerSlider is only capable of being a full width element on a page.

    Wow. Thatʻs super unfortunate. Itʻd look great in columns. Iʻm surprised, because the general options seem to refer to it sizing within its container.

    Thatʻd be a great feature update…

    Its a limitation of the plugin in combination with the columns and as far as I know there aren’t any plans to try to change it in the future (for now).

    You can still use regular slideshows in columns just not the LayerSlider.
