Hi,
I imported the Construction Demo template & I’m trying to add a customized link from the main menu to a section on my page
but it doesn’t let me do that.
It seems like the system rejects the # symbol.
Can you please tell me why is it so and what should I do in order to resolve it?
Awaiting your replyKind Regards,
GalOctober 29, 2019 at 8:20 am #1151984Hey vntr,
Thank you for the inquiry.
Are you trying to add a custom link in your menu? Have you tried adjusting the Settings > Permalink option from default to “Post name”? You should be able to set an anchor link after changing the option.

Thank for getting back to me,
I changed it but it still doesn’t get it.
I am being redirected to a browser page that says the following:
“Not Acceptable!
An appropriate representation of the requested resource could not be found on this server. This error was generated by Mod_Security.”
Please help,Kind Regards,
GalOctober 30, 2019 at 9:20 am #1152246Hi,
Thank you for the update.
How can we reproduce the issue? Is it happening when you add a new custom link, or after changing the permalink option? As the warning suggests, the mod_security rule is blocking the requests. You have to contact your hosting provider and ask them to correct or adjust the mod_sec rules, or ask them to disable it completely if possible.
