I’m trying to use a custom sidebar menu for my blog page. I’ve set Theme Options > Blog Style > “Use advanced layout editor to build your own blog layout”

How do I navigate to so-called “blog page”? When click on a category it takes me to the single post layout. I would like it if that never happened.

On my custom layout page, “About”, I’ve tried two options for sidebar. First a custom widget area with custom menu, placed on the page in the layout editor itself using multiple columns. Second, custom widget area with custom menu chosen from the editor right sidebar, Layout > Sidebar Setting. The problem is that this page isn’t actually being used by the blog I think.

Any help is very appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi GPAMaxx!

We can not understand your issue properly.
Can you please share with us some example pages of what should exist and what not, so we can understand and handle the process?

    Cheers!

I’ve set Theme Options > Blog Style > “Use advanced layout editor to build your own blog layout”. How do I navigate to this “blog” page once I’ve set it to the desired template? How do I navigate to the blog page?

For instance: www.host.com/2015/08/16/our-story/ will take me to a blog single post page, but it’s the wrong layout.

One remedy would be to somehow use a custom sidebar on the single post page.

    Hi!

You could try using the Widget element (ALB) to mimic a Sidebar in the single post.

    Regards,
