    Hi,

when my client clicks on the “insert image” button to edit an image element or a column background image nothing happens (when she tries to add images e.g. inside a text block with the standard “Add media” button everything’s ok). The “insert image” button works for me, so I do understand that this is not a pure theme issue, but most probably has to do with her computer, but do you have some hint or idea what could be causing the problem? I can put in the images for her now in the development phase, but after launch she needs to be able to manage her content – including images – on her own, so we need a fix. Hope you can help!!

    Thanks!

    Hey vonJanne,

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

Can you please point us to the page where it is happening?

    Best regards,
    Victoria

Credentials are in the private box.

Basically it happens on any page where there is a background image in a column (e.g. the golf image in the right hand side column on https://www.coaching-reiterer.com/meine-leistungen/golf/) or an image element (at the bottom of the same page). When she gets to the “Insert image” button where she can pick an image from (or upload one to) the media library, nothing happens.

As I mentioned, I have no problems with this myself, but I saw it on her computer while I was showing her how to edit content.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Thanks for the details, though there is an .htaccess login prompt before coming to the login page. Could you share those details in private as well please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Ah, sorry, I keep forgetting those. You should now be able to log in there as well with the same credentials.

    Hi,

Thanks for that, though I can’t reproduce the problem on my end either. Could you ask your client to try a different browser, or to clear the cache from her current browser and restart it to see if that help please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Thanks, I just had a Teamviewer-Session with her and tried it in Chrome (instead of IE), and that worked perfectly, so she’ll use Chrome instead.

    Hi,

Did you need additional help, or shall we close the topic.

You can close it, thanks. I would have done it myself, but I can’t find a way to do it :-)
