    Hi,

Yes, you can add that filter in the functions.php file and then refresh the page a few times. However, please note that the theme shortcodes that were manually added inside those products are not going to work properly if there were any. It may also break the product pages. Did you add any shortcodes in your product pages using the shortcode wand or generator?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

we are not using any theme shortcodes in our product pages. We are using them in other places but not specifically in the single product pages.

I will wait to update the theme until this is resolved and we are able to update it without it breaking the site and timing out. It is not feasible to move forward using this theme if this is what we would have to do each time.
Please let me know if this is going to be addressed and we will wait or if this is how it will be from now on, we will have to look at swapping out to another theme. thanks for the time to investigate and we appreciate any assistance you can give in getting a final solution rather than patches.

    Thank you!

    Hi,

If you’re not using the advance layout builder for your products and you didn’t add any theme shortcodes then you can use the filter above. The update will not affect your product pages. Create a backup of the site first just to be safe.

I put the site on a development server and tried the update to 4.5, so far no issues. Was the issue corrected on the latest update?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Glad to hear that you’re not having this issue anymore! Yes, a patch for the element manager was included in the latest version.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
