Every time I try to update the theme I get a 500 error and have to revert to my backup. I’ve tried updating the header as well as a complete reinstall of the theme. I keep getting the 500 error. This is the only time this has happened updating a client site.

    Hi,

Could you please post FTP logins privately as well?

    Regards,

    Hi,

I tried provided logins for FTP however they did not work for me. Could you please check them once again?

    Best regards,

    Hey,

I updated the theme using “Update Theme and Plugins from Zip File” plugin however apparently theme name was changed in themes style.css file therefore updating the theme reset Enfold theme options. Could you please ask your hosting provider to revert to a backup?

    Regards,

    Hi,

Thanks. I exported theme options before updating the theme and after updating the theme, i simply imported them in Enfold theme options. Please review your website

    Cheers!

So you went to Tools>Export and just downloaded it all, then did the update, and then went to Tools>Import to import what you downloaded before you updated the theme? Am I following you correctly? I have another client with the same issue.

Oh, and thank you very much! Problem solved :)

    Hi,

No, i went to Enfold theme options > Import & Export tab and exported theme options, updated the theme and then after updating the theme, i imported theme options in Enfold theme options > Import & Export tab again.

You are welcome, we are always happy to help :)

    Best regards,
    Yigit
