Hello,
I cannot update the theme in my word press. Can someone please help me out? I keep getting an error that says:
An error occurred while updating Enfold: Could not create directory.
I have put my details below

MikeSo my only concern here would be that i would loose all my generic settings? Is that the case?
I have backed up my entire site. Why wouldnt the update from Enfold Theme Settings work correctly? This is a recent update and i am not using a outdated version…
Is there anything you can do on your end before i have to do this via FTP as i am not too comfortable with that

You won’t lose your settings as they are stored it the database and you are updating the files, you are doing the same steps as the auto update would do. But, just like the auto update, if you have made changes to your functions.php file or any other core files you will lose those. In the future if you do edit those files you should use a child theme. Read about using a Child Theme
Your error seems to be a permissions issue, in which the theme can’t create a temp folder to download the update. There is a good chance that a plugin is blocking it, or a security setting in your cPanel, or your folders permissions.

MikeStill not working – having issues can i please have a bit more support than this? I have included my information below and FTP is still giving me an error. I have had cPanel permissions changed as well..
Also, i cannot make simple changes. Everything i try it says Changed not able to saved???
