Hi Enfold support,
I can no longer update my site pages, which is actually a pretty inexcusable flaw for this CMS to have. Whenever I push update, it reverts all my progress on my editor and saves an incomplete version. I spent over 2 hours on a page only to have it wiped by this glitch.I can’t risk updating Enfold and having any of my pages glitched or changed, but I need to have this update capability ASAP. I’ll attach my login credentials so your team can explore and find a solution. I’ve put the website there as well.
Thanks.
December 7, 2016 at 12:34 pm #721444Hey arlise,
Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (3.8) to see if that helps please? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
If not then what page are you having this problem?
Best regards,
RikardDecember 7, 2016 at 7:39 pm #721677Hi Rikard! Thanks for the quick response.
I’d rather not update the theme right now incase it creates any issues with my existing pages. I need all my pages in their current state and can’t risk any big changes.
I’ll link the page that isn’t working in the private content section. Any content additional to what is there that I try to add won’t save.
December 8, 2016 at 7:55 am #721848Hi,
Ok, that is not something we recommend since you risk more problems down the line. So it’s the page you sent in private last which is causing you problems? What exactly are you trying to add or alter on the page? Also, how did you get those icons in there? They are not displaying any code on the backend when trying to edit them.

December 9, 2016 at 8:48 pm #722598Hi Rikard.
For some reason, when I laid my page out and updated it, it erased all the content except for those icons. This page is not the only problem. I tried creating a new page and editing that one instead, but it also has the same problem where it won’t save. I’m too afraid to try updating any of my other pages incase I lose all my content. ):
I may bite the bullet and update my theme, but I would REALLY prefer to have this resolved in another way, and as soon as possible. There are urgent changes that need to be made.

NimaDecember 11, 2016 at 7:54 am #722792Hi,
The advance layout builder is having issues because you’re using a very old version of the theme, 3.4.7, which is not compatible with WordPress 4.6.1. Please update the theme to the latest version, 3.8.1.

IsmaelDecember 11, 2016 at 11:59 am #722812Not sure who you are referring to Ismael however I have checked and I have this in my WordPress dashboard
Theme Updates
No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (3.8)

December 12, 2016 at 12:39 am #722877Hi Ismael,
I’ve reluctantly started the update but it seems to run forever and never complete. How long does this update usually run? I’ve waited for over an hour on reliable internet.

NimaDecember 12, 2016 at 2:57 am #722896Dear WordPress support,
My site is now updated to version 3.8 and it is STILL not letting me update anything. Please help.
December 12, 2016 at 6:11 am #722933Hi,
We enabled debug mode and checked for any plugin conflict.
http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/I checked for the issue and tested on page (link in private). Strangly the new pages work without any issue and the issue seem to be only with the page you mentioned. It appears the page may be corrupt or there is some kind of code break on the specific page.
Please create a new page (do not duplicate as it might carry over the bug if there are any code breaks) and delete the one with the issue.
Best regards,
