Hi I am doing a new post as I cannot find my previous post. We have an issue that when we update the website theme, the site layout is destroyed. We updated license with Envato to no avail. Just need to know how we can update without issue. Thanks
July 11, 2022 at 2:22 pm #1357946Hey Pierre,
Thanks for the login details. It looks like the home page is not set correctly on the staging site, did you check the theme settings for that? If you need further help, then please post admin WordPress login details in private for your live site as well.
Best regards,

Thanks for that. I’m not sure exactly how you have created your site, but it looks like several plugins as missing on the staging site, compared to the live site. Are any of those plugins responsible for the look and feel of the site maybe? I would recommend that you try to copy the live site to the staging server first of all, then update after that.
Best regards,
RikardJuly 19, 2022 at 6:53 am #1358738Hi Rikard thank you for taking a look. The staging site is a recent copy of the live site, that was copied over a week ago and then updated, giving us what we have now on the staging. I can copy over the site again so they are identical but we know for a fact that it will not make a difference. As a matter of fact last week when you first accessed the site, everything was the same. We set the homepage but the styling is off.
We are in the process of removing plugins from the live site (only contact 7 and related smtp plugins) as we are doing maintenance but none have anything to do with the layout. Yellow Pencil was installed 3 days ago on the live site to address an unrelated issue quickly.
I talked to the previous developer about maybe some custom css was done and that is getting overwritten. But confirmed to me that all the css edits are done in the themes settings.
Any other ideas as to what could be affecting the css. Thanks Rikard
July 19, 2022 at 7:27 am #1358739Hi Rikard I just noticed that in the Enfold options everything seems to be deleted after the update. This is the issue. Any ideas as to what can cause that?
July 19, 2022 at 7:31 am #1358740FYI, I imported the theme settings file over to the staginv5 site but did not seems to fix the issue.

Yes that link is loading, but not the WordPress login page. Did you change it to a custom URL maybe?

July 20, 2022 at 8:22 am #1358851Hi AudioSuites2018,
Thanks for providing the login page for the staging site.
I tried to regenerate the styles by going to Enfold > Theme Options and clicking Save Changes and that somehow fixed the issue.
Please review your site.Best regards,

RikardJuly 25, 2022 at 3:57 am #1359344Hi Rikard I tried to replicate saving the theme on a localhost before implementing this on the live site and the save option is not even available to click. I imported the theme settings and saved the setting but nothing on the front end, still a broken theme. I just want to confirm that Nikko went to Theme Options > Save All changes and it was availalble to click (blue button).
I have a white button that is not clickable. lmk
ThanksJuly 25, 2022 at 11:56 am #1359370Hi,
Thanks for the update. If the save button is not active, then I’m guessing that nothing has been changed. Did you import the theme settings successfully? If you did, and the settings are not applying, then you can go and change one or two theme options, then try to save again. Doing that should regenerate the theme styling files, and your settings should hopefully apply after that.
Best regards,
