Hello,
One of our websites is experiencing issues with the translation of the WooCommerce templates by using WPML. The strings to translate appear in the backend (WPML >> String translation) and can be translated (from EN to NL), but the translation does not appear on the frontend. We’ve tried multiple things for troubleshooting:
Disabled plugins one by one
Reset text domain in child theme
Reinstalled child theme and imported parent theme settings
But we cannot get the translations to appear on the frontend (the template pages from WooCommerce such as the checkout page). We contacted WPML and they figured the translations do appear only if the child theme is disabled and the parent Enfold theme is active. What can we do to solve this issue?
Kind regards,
Stan
Hey Hotelsolutions,
Thank you for the inquiry.
Which specific strings or text are you trying to translate? It is possible that the text are from a plugin or a custom template, or the page is cached. You may need to purge the cache or try to check it on incognito mode.
Best regards,
