    My objective is to make a section containing 2 elements into a vertical column of 2 instead of a horizontal row.

    The section is called section_one on the Home page. I want the elements to stack from their normal position when a specified screen width is reached. I have tried turning section_one into a flex box using the #section_one selector, but it doesn’t work. This css code is in the CSS area of the theme.

    The reason I want to do this is that I’m not happy with the theme’s standard responsiveness – it reduces the dimensions of the image and reduces the width of the text element while increasing its height.

    Hi Victoria.
    I have some images I want to send you about this, but I don’t know how to send them. Basically, I want to avoid the situation where the image contracts (due to responsiveness) to a smaller height than the text on the right. Either the image should stay the same height as the text, or it should stack at the point when the two heights diverge. I want to achieve a result the same as the image of the computer with text on the right, as they appear on http://www.webski.com.au directly under the banner image of the beach.

    You can upload images to a service like Dropbox and give us the links here.

    That is not a problem, we can help you adjust the 1/2 elements to not be overlapping if that is your issue. Try using the normal 1/2 elements or go back to when you experienced the issue the first time and let us help you there.

    The issue is that, instead of “squashing” the text (ie reducing its width), while keeping the 2 elements – the image and the text – in a row, I want the 2 elements stacked one on top of the other, at a set screen width (768px). Of course, when the screen reduces to mobile size, the elements stack, but I want them to stack earlier.

    Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However, if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)
