Hi. I recently purchased and installed Enfold onto my WordPress site. Since doing this, I haven’t been able to save any changes. I’ve tried changing the color scheme, the layout, installing demo site. No matter which change I try to make I get one of two error messages; “Saving Didn’t Work. Please Reload The Page And Try Again” or “Importing didn’t work. You may want to try reloading the page and try again”.
This has been a pretty frustrating experience. I contacted my web guy, who researched the issue, and made some edits to the server in regards to permissions, but it still didn’t help. I then disabled and deleted every plugin I had on the site to see if it was a compatibility issue. I’m still not able to make any edits.

We checked the error logs and did not receive any errors.
My developer had a few questions as he’s trying to troubleshoot this error on our end:
– Is this theme compatible with Php7.0 ?
– Is the theme also compatible with FastCGI/FPM or should we use CGI?

Thanks for giving us admin access, can you enable PHP ZipArchive Extension? since this is required to allow importing of demo.
Also increasing PHP Post Max Size and Max Upload Size might be needed to ensure that it will work properly.
You can check this in LayerSlider WP > System Status > and check for server settings.

NikkoI appreciate the response. I’m having my web guy make these changes. To clarify, should this also address the issue of not being able to change layout settings? Basically anytime I tried to change font size/color, layout settings I got an error within enfold.

Honestly I think that’s a separate issue.
I checked the web console and could see that there are lots of mixed content issue because you using https but your site assets (images, files, etc) are still in http.
It should be fixed by going to Settings > General then modify WordPress Address (URL) to use https.

NikkoHi again. My web guy was on vacation and just got to making the changes you suggested yesterday. After making all those changes we are still seeing the exact same errors. But with the free theme we are able to make oil changes is a something with enfold. This issue has taken up a huge amount of time that I needed to be spending building the website. I either need to get a solution that works or I need to process a refund for this theme cuz I haven’t been able to use it since purchasing it
I may have found a fix on my own. I installed a plugin called ssl-insecure-content-fixer, and this seems to have stopped all the errors and I was able to import the site demo it seems.
