We have an issue with one of our website pages not saving changes. Once edits are made and we update, we are redirected to “Page Not Found” – see screenshot: https://snipboard.io/xlH2G9.jpg

We deactivated all plugins, deactivated the Child Theme, then reactivated the plugins one by one; everything was fine until we reactivated the Child Theme. (We activated the complete Enfold theme and were able to make the changes to the page without issues.

The issue occurs only when the Child Theme is activated: the edits are not saving, and the error “Page Not Found” displays.

    Thanks for your help

    Hey So Evolve,

If the problem is only occuring when the the child theme is active, then it’s not a core theme problem. Please try removing all your customisations from the child, then add them back one by one to see when it starts happening again.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,
The login is not working, please check. I see your page /our-team/ seems to be working but the test page /our-team-test-page/ is not. We will need to login to examine.

    Best regards,
    Mike

This is the page that will not allow any added Team Member:

After adding and clicking update on the page it takes us to the page as shown in the screenshot

    Hi,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

The previous “team” page no longer exists, and we can’t reproduce the issue on the “AAA” test page (see private field). Did you add any custom scripts or shortcodes in the previous team page?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi,

    Thank you for the info.

How many entries or team members are on the team page? When we removed the first 8, we were able to update the page the issue without issue. You can check this on the test page we created (see private field). It’s possible that there is custom content in the first 8 entries that is causing the issue.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi,

As mentioned above, when we removed the first eight items, the update worked, so there may be custom content in one of those entries causing the issue. Try removing each section one at a time to identify which entry is causing the problem. Let us know the result.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
