    HI

    I have a fresh install of WP, latest version, tried importing on Chrome, IE and Firefox.

    I installed your theme, then installed the child theme

    Every time i try to install the dummy data I get this message in all browsers:
    Importing didnt work!
    You might want to try reloading the page and then try again

    I have tried the following:

    Increased limit to 128m
    Deleted all plugins

    Tried dummy install again
    Still same error message

    Searched forum, found l ink to sql dummy data

    Installed wp importer
    Tried to installl sql dummy data file
    Got this error: Sorry, there has been an error.
    This does not appear to be a WXR file, missing/invalid WXR version number

    I am struggling to find somethign that works – any help would be appreciated.

    Hey lesley1802!

    Can you create a temporary admin user and then reply here with the details. Make sure you set the reply as “Set as private reply” below the text field here so that its only visible to support staff.

    Then we can log in and take a look at whats going on further.

    It looks like the memory limit is still actually 64mb which isn’t too low but a bit low. It might help if its correctly increased. How did you previously try and increase it?

    Some of the data was loaded in but its stalling at some point. It isn’t essential to have the dummy data though I know it does help a lot with seeing how things were done.
