Hey I’m trying to import the Construction Demo but whatever I do I cannot get it to work. I just installed everything new and did your XML Import, regular Import but I cannot get the Demo to work correctly. Just now I got the following error:
Failed to import product_type external
Failed to import product_type grouped
Failed to import product_type simple
….
I think I tried everything you have in this forum but I couldn’t get the demo working. I got all the pages and database stuff importet, but images and CSS stuff is missing. How can I get things working correctly?Thanks.
Hey Stefan,
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
Login credentials include:
- The URL to the login screen.
- A valid username (with full administration capabilities).
- As well as a password for that username.
- permission to deactivate plugins if necessary.

I checked your website and it seems to me that construction demo gets loaded correctly. At least in your frontend I can’t see any issues. Could you fix it?
If not, how can we see the issue?
There might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Here is a short tutorial on how to install the theme via FTP, in case you are not sure how that works:
