Cannot find options to set featured image

Hello, I’m very new to Enfold and am having trouble setting up my Portfolio. I downloaded the general demo pages and are basing off of those, but I cannot find any way to 1) change the featured image on the existing demo pages or 2) set a new featured image in a new portfolio item. I read in here about setting that in slideshow options, but cannot find that either. I tried creating a new one and just adding images to the portfolio grid, thinking perhaps the first one would default to the featured image, but nothing shows up. I watched the video on how to set up Portfolio Items and it shows the featured image function at the bottom right, but that doesn’t show for me (and I gather from reading some comments here that that option is no longer used, see video is from 2013).
