Running WP 4.0.1 & Enfold 3.04 Since the updates after I begin writing a post and save, I cannot go back and modify it any further. When I open the post after saving draft, it says word count 0. Yet when I am on the dashboard I can see the beginning of what I’ve typed. On my WordPress app I can see all the text so I know it’s hiding there somewhere. Help pls. Thanks
BTW, I did deactivate all my plugins and that didn’t make a difference so I reactivated them.November 24, 2014 at 5:14 am #356471Hey tlkingsland!
Thank you for using Enfold.
Are you using the WordPress App when editing the website? Are you trying to edit the site on a mobile device? I’m sorry but WordPress App is still in development and premium themes are not fully compatible with it. Please configure the theme on a desktop.
Cheers!
IsmaelNovember 25, 2014 at 12:37 am #357262Perhaps I wasn’t clear. The app is not the issue. The WordPress app has worked perfectly from the moment I installed it. My issue is exclusively with enfold & wordpress. as noted above when I begin drafting a new post it is perfectly fine. Once I hit save draft, I can no longer “SEE” the text that was previously there. It says word count 0 and no text appears.
November 25, 2014 at 5:34 am #357338Hi!
I’m sorry but have you tried editing it on a desktop instead of the app or your mobile device? Let us know if it’s working there. Honestly, we haven’t fully tested the theme using the WordPress App. Make sure that you’re running Enfold 3.0.4 on WordPress 4.0.1.
Best regards,
IsmaelNovember 25, 2014 at 7:49 am #357394Again I believe you are misunderstanding. It is NOT in the app that I am trying to work. The app is perfect. I was just using that as a reference.
It is from my desktop that I cannot “SEE” what has been saved as a draft. Again this is not about the WordPress app. This is typing from my desktop. Once I save a draft, I can no longer “SEE” the text. It says word count 0. I am running WP 4.0.1 and Enfold 3.0.4
November 25, 2014 at 10:01 pm #357973Hi!
It looks like your getting a few errors.
ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined (function(e,t){function i(t,i){var a,n,r,o=t.nodeName.toLowerCase();return"area"... load-sc...r=4.0.1 (line 4, col 1) TypeError: e.ui is undefined (function(e){e.widget("ui.draggable",e.ui.mouse,{version:"1.10.4",widgetEventPre... load-sc...r=4.0.1 (line 4, col 13) ReferenceError: wp is not defined var $body = $("body"), file_frame = [], media = wp.media,
Make sure to deactivate all plugins while testing.
Let’s try creating a backup and completely deleting Enfold from your WordPress theme directory and then download + upload a fresh copy from themeforest.
Regards,
