I have a fresh install of WordPress and Enfold with the Medical Demo pages.
In Theme Options, I selected to use the “WP Classic Editor.”
When I edit a page or post and select the “Default Editor” then select the TEXT tab, the edit area is blank (it’s blank for the VISUAL tab as well).
If I switch back to use the “Block Editor,” I can select the Code Editor option and see the raw text for the page.
I would like to use the Classic Editor. Do you know why this is not allowing text edit of the pages or posts?
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Hi,
Thanks for the login details. I’m not sure why you would want to edit the shortcodes in the Classic Editor? If you want to edit the shortcodes manually, then it’s better if you enable debug mode: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-advanced-layout-builder/#debug-mode

Thanks Rikard. Activating the Debug Field is very nice (and works!). I’ll deactivate this when the website has been completed and goes live so the client doesn’t accidentally edit this field, but during development, this is very nice to have to efficiently copy the shortcode from a page to create a derivative page. You can close this ticket.
