Hi, this is a problem that continues to happen on Enfold sites, and I know I’ve sent support requests before, to no avail. but it’s happening again. I just cannot make any edits to a particular grid row. In this Grid, 2nd 2/5ths column, I’m just trying to remove one line of text, the last line: “Chairman, Charter Aviation Technologies”.

No matter what I do, the change will not save. I can open the Text Block, hit save and it won’t save (although it will appear to be saved in the element). WHen you hit save the window does not close. So, you can “X” out, and it still appears that the line has been removed. Then you Update the page, and it’s right back in there – was not removed.

    Help?

    Hey Eleina_Shinn,

Thanks for the login details. You had open markup in your content:

<strong>Want more information about our Models?

. That can break the layout builder, like in this case. What usually happens is that content disappears after the open content when saving though.

I enabled debug mode for you, and closed your markup. It’s now working as expected, please review your site. Also please make sure to close all markup properly in the future.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Okay, for sure I will, and so sorry, but I still can’t make it work. I just went into the page /products – the problem still exists – the tag is still open.

and I can open that element where the tag was not closed, but I cannot close it – same problem – I can add the closing tag, but the element will not save, so I cannot fix it.

I even tried adding a new element – a new special heading underneath, with no tags, dragging it up there – removing the old one that didn’t have the closed tag, then saved the page, but the change does not take effect.

    Hi Eleina_Shinn,

It seems the issue is caching, the frontend seems to be cached as the backend is already updated (no errors) but the front of the site does not make any changes at all.
Some servers have built-in caching in their system so even if you don’t have a caching plugin, pages are still cached, please check it with your hosting provider and temporarily disable it.

    Best regards,
    Nikko
