Cannot edit a text block, shows as empty!!!

HELP: I cannot edit text on my frontpage (the text block under the top slider).

We have retrieved copy from last night when everything perfect, were able to get in to make one change but when opened again to edit got an empty section again… have tried to edit it in all browers… cleaned out cookies, no updates since then to effect it. Since last night, the only change is added some styling to the frontpage in Quick styling CSS from Josue which loaded perfectly. Took it out again to see if it made a difference but no joy.

For information this was the styling added to Quick Styling CSS:

.home .container {
    padding: 0 0px;
}

.home .content, .home .sidebar {
    padding-bottom: 0;
    padding-top: 7px;
}
